At BDH, we are passionate about creating the highest quality sim racing hardware, and we are confident you will love your purchase. However, we understand that sometimes things might not be quite right. This policy outlines your rights and our commitment to a simple, fair returns process.

This policy is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory legal rights.

Your Right to Change Your Mind

We offer a 14-day "change of mind" returns guarantee on all products purchased directly from our website.

  • Timeframe: You have 14 calendar days from the day you (or a person you nominate) receive your order to notify us that you wish to return an item.
  • No Reason Needed: You do not need to provide a reason for the return.
  • Return Shipping: For “change of mind” returns, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipping. This applies to both UK and international customers.
  • Process: Once you have notified us of your intent to return, you have a further 14 days to send the item back to us.

This right applies to online sales under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

How to Return an Item

Returning an item is a simple, three-step process:

  1. Request Your Return: Please contact us via our website https://bdhracesim.com/contact-us/ or email us at . To help us process your return as quickly as possible, please include your original order number and the reason for the return (for example, "change of mind" or "item is faulty").
  2. Prepare Your Package: Please pack the item securely to prevent damage in transit. We recommend using the original packaging if you still have it, and ensuring all original accessories, manuals, and parts are included. Please also include a note inside the box with your name and order number so we can identify your return.
  3. Send it Back: Once the item is securely packaged, please send it to the following address:

Condition of Returned Items

To be eligible for a full refund for a "change of mind" return, items must be returned in an 'as new,' saleable condition. This means the item must be:

  • Unused and free from signs of wear.
  • In its complete and undamaged original packaging.
  • Returned with all accessories, cables, manuals, and any other included parts.

We understand you may need to inspect your shifter upon receipt. However, please be aware that the installation or mounting of the product to a sim rig, or any use beyond what would reasonably be possible to inspect the item in a physical shop, may be considered use that diminishes the product's value. In such cases where an item is returned with signs of use (such as scratches or marks from bolts), we reserve the right to make a reasonable deduction from your refund to reflect its reduced resale value.

Refunds

Processing Time: Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days.

Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

What is Refunded: For a "change of mind" return, we will refund the full price you paid for the product(s) and the standard outbound delivery charge. If you choose an expedited shipping option, we will only refund the cost of our standard delivery service.

Notification: We will send you an email confirmation as soon as your refund has been processed. Please note it may take several additional days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.

If Your Item is Faulty, Damaged, or Not as Described

Your products are protected by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, as well as our own Lifetime Warranty.

Within 30 Days (Short-Term Right to Reject): If your item is faulty, arrives damaged, or is not as described, you have the right to a full refund. This right lasts for 30 days from the date you receive the goods. For all customers, worldwide, we will arrange for a free return and issue a full refund or, if you prefer, a replacement. Please contact us via our Contact Form, using "Faulty/Damaged" as the “Subject” to begin the process.

After 30 Days: If a fault develops after 30 days, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement. Please refer to our Lifetime Warranty policy for full details on how we support our products for the long term.

International Customers

We welcome customers from around the world. The following terms apply to all orders shipped outside of the United Kingdom.

"Change of Mind" Returns (International)

If you are an international customer returning an item due to a "change of mind," you are responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipping. Key points to note:

  • You are responsible for the full cost of a tracked and insured international shipping service back to our UK workshop. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
  • Any import duties, taxes, or customs fees levied by your country on the initial purchase are non-refundable by BDH.

"Faulty Item" Returns (International)

Our commitment to quality extends to all our customers, wherever they are. If your item is confirmed to be faulty within 30 days of receipt, we will provide a free return.

  • Please contact our support team immediately. We will provide you with a pre-paid international return shipping label and detailed instructions.
  • We will handle all arrangements to get the faulty unit back to our workshop at our expense.
