Which Warranty Applies?

• Lifetime Warranty – Mostly mechanical shifters (BDH H1, BDH H2SQ, BDH S1)
• 2-Year Warranty – Shifters with heavy electronics integration (BDH Active)
• 1-Year Warranty – Older models of mostly mechanical shifters (BDH H1SQ)

Mechanical Shifters

Lifetime Warranty Coverage

BDH guarantees your lifetime warranty mechanical shifter (BDH H1, BDH H2SQ, BDH S1) against defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser, under normal use. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to products purchased directly from BDH or authorised retailers.

1-Year Warranty Coverage

BDH guarantees your older mechanical shifter model (BDH H1SQ) against defects in materials or workmanship for one (1) year from the date of original purchase, under normal use. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to products purchased directly from BDH or authorised retailers.

Faults Within the First 30 Days

This Lifetime Warranty covers your product for the long term. If you have experienced a fault within the first 30 days of receiving your product, you are covered by our 30-day free return policy for a full refund or replacement.

For immediate assistance with a new product, please consult our Return Policy for the correct procedure.

What's Not Covered

• Damage from improper use, abuse, neglect, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
• Repairs/alterations by anyone other than an authorised workshop (voids warranty immediately).
• Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, fading).
• Extreme applications (e.g., commercial misuse, exposure to harsh conditions beyond product specs).
• Costs of shipping and associated taxes to/from our workshop for warranty claims made after the initial 30-day return period (customer responsibility).

Claim Requirements

• Valid proof of purchase (receipt/invoice).
• Product evaluation by BDH to confirm defect eligibility.
• Claims deemed ineligible will be returned at customer's expense.

Normal Use Definition

Regular, intended operation under typical conditions. Excludes misuse, negligence, or environments accelerating wear beyond reasonable expectations.

We reserve the right to repair, replace, or refund at our discretion. This warranty does not cover incidental/consequential damages.

Electronic Shifters

Coverage

BDH guarantees your electronic shifter against defects in materials or workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original purchase, under normal use. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to products purchased directly from BDH or authorised retailers.

Faults Within the First 30 Days

If you experience a fault within the first 30 days of receiving your product, you are covered by our 30-day free return policy for a full refund or replacement.
